Background and Purpose of the Funding
Founded in 2019, amptalk released its product — which goes by the same name — amptalk, an AI-based online business meeting transcription and analysis tool.
With DX (Digital Transformation) being a hot topic in many industries today, compounded with the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, online sales activities have become mainstream, and the trend is expected to persist even after the pandemic.
In addition, many companies are not only dealing with the transition to online business negotiations, but are also facing challenges within their sales organizations, such as with the personalization of sales activities, sales personnel development, and collaboration and information sharing among Inside Sales (IS), Field Sales (FS), and Customer Success (CS).
In the midst of such trends, many companies are working to achieve “sales enablement,” which aims to optimize and improve the efficiency of sales activities by eliminating information fragmentation among teams, and by quantifying and analyzing all types of information.
In order to realize this sales enablement, amptalk not only enables automatic transcription and analysis of web conferences and IP phone calls, but also enables sharing and reviewing of business meetings by automatically sending information to Salesforce, Slack, and HubSpot, saving time and effort. Through these means, amptalk helps companies achieve sales enablement.
Comments from Ryoma Inose, President and Representative Director, amptalk, Inc.
About a year and a half has passed since the fundraising in May 2020, and the way society dealt with COVID-19 has gone through various phases. Despite the fact that only a year and a half has passed, I feel that people’s and society’s views on how to work have changed dramatically. As various communication tools are developed and have evolved, we believe that we need to contribute to society by providing products that visualize conversations and enable people to do more efficiently what they spent so much time doing in the past. Sales enablement is a relatively new field, but with the funds raised this time, we at amptalk hope to take the lead in spreading sales enablement in Japan and abroad.

About the Investment
Takahiro Suzuki, General Partner, Genesia Ventures, Inc.
Aligned with my comments from when we first invested in the seed round in September 2021, the moment I met Mr. Inose, I could feel his strong spirit and resilience and knew immediately that I had to support him. After working together, I was fascinated by not only Mr. Inose, but also the amptalk team’s passion and ability to execute, and was fortunate to be given the opportunity to make an additional investment in this round. We will continue to work together to realize our mission of maximizing the time people spend with each other by streamlining sales activities through technology.
