Genesia Ventures announces that it has made an additional investment in Recerqa — the developer of RECERQA, an Agentic ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system that optimizes order management operations — through its Genesia Venture Fund 3 as part of the company’s Series A funding round.

Investment Background

Order management operations between businesses — including quote preparation, order registration, delivery inspection, and invoicing — are the backbone of operations across all industries. Since the introduction of ERP systems in the 1990s and the subsequent adoption of tools such as RPA (Robotic Process Automation) and AI-OCR (Artificial Intelligence Optical Character Recognition) in the 2010s, these workflows have become partially digitized. However, the fundamental structure in which humans read data, make judgments, and instruct systems has remained largely unchanged, leaving structural inefficiencies that continue to impede end-to-end digitization.

Since its founding in 2022, Recerqa has tackled this challenge head-on, continuously refining its product through real-world projects with major manufacturers, trading companies, and other enterprises. Having closely observed its steady progress in both business and organizational development since our initial seed round investment, Genesia Ventures has decided to make an additional investment in this Series A round as well.

Business Overview

Recerqa is the developer of RECERQA, an Agentic ERP that optimizes order management operations.

Conventional ERP systems are designed on the premise that “humans operate the system,” but Agentic ERP inverts that premise. AI agents understand data and make judgments based on business rules, allowing humans to focus on final decision-making — a shift from a “System of Record” to a “System of Action.” In addition, the system is designed so that performance data accumulated after implementation continuously improves the accuracy of AI judgments, progressively reducing the cost of human review.

At the core of RECERQA is a proprietary four-layer architecture called Quattro.

• Layer 1 | QUON (Data Foundation Layer): Uses AI to read business documents (e.g., purchase orders, invoices) that vary in format, language, and notation across trading partners, and normalizes them into a unified data model (ontology).
• Layer 2 | QRAFT (Business Logic Layer): Structures industry-specific workflows, decision criteria, and trade practices, converting on-the-ground tacit knowledge into reproducible logic and procedures.
• Layer 3 | Agent (Judgment & Recommendation Layer): AI agents autonomously analyze and make judgments by referencing data from QUON and procedural guidelines from QRAFT.
• Layer 4 | Execution (Execution Layer): Enables phased automation — from human review and approval of AI recommendations (L4) to fully autonomous task execution by AI agents (L4+).

The system is currently being adopted primarily by major manufacturers, steel trading companies, medical device distributors, food manufacturers, food wholesalers, and insurance companies.

Use of Funds and Future Outlook

The funds raised in this round will be allocated to:

• Strengthening Product Development: Enhancing the functionality of the Quattro-based Agentic ERP and expanding industry-specific templates (QRAFT)
• Organizational Expansion: Hiring AI engineers, FDEs (Forward Deployed Engineers), product engineers, and consultants
• Full-Scale Deployment to Large Enterprises: Expanding into key target industries, primarily manufacturing and trading companies, and establishing a BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) × performance-based revenue model

In the Series A phase, the company will begin delivering the Quattro framework — which was developed and validated during the seed round — as a fully integrated product for major domestic enterprises. By offering a phased migration path from existing legacy systems (such as AS/400), the company enables businesses to optimize order management operations without disrupting ongoing workflows.
