Genesia Ventures Makes Follow-on Investment in PartnerProp, the Leading Company in Partner Marketing, in Series A Round

Genesia Ventures has made a follow-on investment in PartnerProp, a leading company in partner marketing, through its Genesia Venture Fund No. 3 (GV-3) as part of the company’s Series A round.

Background and Purpose of Fundraising

While direct sales channels have improved in recent years, there are visible limitations to generating opportunities with limited personnel and advertising budgets. Despite the need to focus sales resources efficiently, physical constraints restrict the number of customers and areas that can be served. Additionally, talent shortages and intense competition for recruitment have become significant obstacles to business growth.

Partner channels have emerged as a strategic solution to these challenges.

Currently, partner channels are widely adopted, with approximately 80% of Japanese companies utilizing them[*1], and many leading companies successfully generating revenue through this approach.

Despite widespread adoption, many companies find it challenging to transition to partner channels due to a lack of proven cases. While direct sales have benefited from best practices and digital transformation (DX), partner channels remain underdeveloped. Currently, partner channels operate primarily through manufacturers’ one-way initiatives like joint sales meetings and training sessions, relying heavily on individual companies’ knowledge and relationships with partner representatives.
