MASAMI ICHINOHE

In November 2015, while attending the University of Tokyo, Masami joined a newly-founded startup as an intern handling branding of its curated media, and taking part in the launch of a new sales team. Following this, Masami joined GREE, Inc. as an intern and engaged in optimizing its online ad business.
Masami joined Genesia Ventures, Inc. in April 2018. Attended the University of Tokyo.

Studying English hard. Recently started muscle training. My hobbies are golf and walking. I like Soran-bushi.

In middle school I put my soul into Soran-bushi, in high school into youth, and in college into mahjong.

Favorite country/episode

After all, I love Japan. I have much to learn from the rest of the world, but I take great pride in Japan's food culture, culture, people, nature, and history.

Why did you become a VC?

I strongly believe that it is startups and technology that will transform society in the coming decades.
