Joined Eight Roads Ventures Japan in 2015, the venture capital arm of one of the world’s leading asset management firms. Focused on later-stage investments, primarily Series B and C rounds, as well as M&A transactions.
Joined Genesia Ventures in May 2026.
In parallel with investment activities, actively engaged in advancing DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) within the startup ecosystem. Co-founded the Startup DEI Promotion Council with industry peers, leading initiatives in policy advocacy and strengthening the foundation of the ecosystem.
Founded Public Mind in 2020, an intermediary organization supporting nonprofits. Certified as an authorized NPO in May 2025, and currently expanding its efforts to address challenges in the social sector.
Graduated from Gakushuin University, Faculty of Law, Department of Political Science.

While at university, was a member of the photography club and spent time traveling the world, particularly to remote backcountry locations, presenting it in exhibitions.
Favorite country/episode
Too many to choose from, but especially drawn to places with rich cultural heritage and iconic landmarks.
Particular favorites include Tibet, Peru, Kenya, Cambodia, and Mexico. Having spent formative years in the UK, also have a deep appreciation for Europe.
Drawn to cultures and environments that reflect resilience, diversity, and long-term human development.

Why did you choose to work at a VC?
What began as a series of connections evolved into a clear direction through my work with founders. Venture capital offers a unique way to engage in the creation of new value—where I can contribute through both capital and firsthand experience in building businesses.
