Hobbies, Favorite Things, Holidays

Visiting cafes around Niigata with my family and exploring delicious recipes using seasonal ingredients.

Episodes from your school days (club activities, majors, etc.)

When I was a child, I loved both sports and the arts. I played badminton until junior high school, and in high school, I joined the musical theater club, where I took on the challenge of creating stage productions with more than 160 fellow members. Around the same time, I had the invaluable opportunity to participate in a training program at NASA in the United States as part of the Ministry of Education’s SSH (super science high school) program. This experience allowed me to feel the excitement of engaging with science from a global perspective.

Favorite country/episode

Melbourne, Australia - a stylish city full of diversity that I visited during my short-term study abroad, and Bali, Indonesia - rich in nature with delicious spice-based cuisine.

Favorite Company/Vision/Value

Novo Nordisk. I have been supported by this company for my treatment since I was 13, and it is where I began my career and learned the basics of clinical development as a new graduate. With its headquarters in Denmark, I am inspired by the company’s warmth, integrity, and its bold, global challenges.

Why did you become a VC?

I chose this path because I aspire to facilitate the effective translation of scientific technologies into the market and contribute to the creation of a more prosperous society. Since this is a very important question that cannot be fully expressed in just one sentence, I would like to share my foundational experiences and thoughts with you when we have a chance to connect.

Favorite motto
